IR Video Conferencing
Time Savings Analysis

By using IR's conferencing facilities availalbe in either our Calgary or Edmonton offices, we can help to save you time, reduce costs, and help to make your day run smoother. Here's a look at how.

Scenario 1. You have a three hour meeting in Toronto next Monday at 9:00. If you wanted to avoid spending the night in Toronto, you would do the following:

Leave home at 10:00 pm to arrive at the airport, park, and check-in for your flight that leaves just after midnight.

Next, you could try to sleep on the plane, land at about 6:00 am Toronto time, and arrive in to the terminal about 6:30 am, freshen up, catch a cab and fight rush hour traffic into downtown Toronto. You would likely arrive at your meeting at about 8:30 and be ready for your meeting.

Your meeting ends about noon, you grab a bite to eat, then catch a cab and make your way back to the airport to catch the 4:00 flight back home.

You board your plane, try to sleep again on the 4.5 hour flight back to Alberta and land at just after 6:30 pm, get back to your car and drive home.

It's now about 8:00 pm when you walk through the door. You've missed the whole day, didn't enjoy dinner with your family, and you're dead-tired and go right to sleep.

Here's the breakdown of the day:

Travel & park at airport - 1 hour
Check-in & board plane - 1 hour
Flight to Toronto - 4 hours
Landing and taxi to gate - 30 minutes
Cab to downtown Toronto - 1 to 1.5 hours
